Kingdom Fire Biblical Institute (KFBI) is a faith-based Christian institution headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. KFBI operates as a religious educational institution providing non-secular, biblically-grounded degree programs.
North Carolina Religious Exemption Status: KFBI is a religious institution therefore exempt.
All programs offered by KFBI are non-secular in nature and designed specifically to prepare students for religious vocations, including pastoral ministry, Christian counseling, theological education, church leadership, and related faith-based service.
All degree titles include religious modifiers to clearly reflect the faith-based nature of our programs. Examples include:

Important: KFBI does not currently claim accreditation by any accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We will soon have this status!
KFBI is a member of the Commission of Affirming & Inclusion in Higher Education, a faith-based organization that promotes quality standards and equality among Christian institutions. CAIHE currently is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a federally recognized accrediting agency.

Students who wish to withdraw from a course or program are subject to the following refund schedule, calculated from the first day of the academic term:
Withdrawal TimingTuition Refund Before classes begin100% once classes begin there will be no refunds permitted.
Application Fee: Non-refundable under all circumstances.
Withdrawal Process: To withdraw, students must submit a written request to the Registrar's Office at directorofadmissions@kingdomfirebiblicalinstitute.net The effective date of withdrawal is the date the request is received.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 30 business days of withdrawal approval.
KFBI is committed to addressing student concerns promptly and fairly. The following process outlines how complaints and grievances are handled:
Students are encouraged to first discuss concerns directly with the instructor, advisor, or relevant staff member. Many issues can be resolved informally through open dialogue.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, students may submit a formal written complaint to the Director of Compliance at directorofcompliance@kingdomfirebiblicalinstitute.net. Include a detailed description of the issue, dates, parties involved, and desired resolution. Response timeframe: 10 business days.
If the student is not satisfied with the formal resolution, they may appeal to the Academic Review Committee by submitting a written appeal within 14 days of receiving the initial decision. The Committee's decision is final. Response timeframe: 21 business days.

Important Notice: The transferability of credits earned at KFBI is at the sole discretion of the receiving institution. It is the student's responsibility to confirm whether another institution will accept credits from KFBI .
KFBI evaluates incoming transfer credits on a case-by-case basis. Students who wish to transfer credits to KFBI should subKFBI mit official transcripts for evaluation by our Department of Administration. Contact directoradmin@kingdomfirebiblicalinstitute.net for a complimentary transcript evaluation.
Similarly, students planning to transfer credits earned at KFBI to another institution should contact that institution directly to determine their transfer credit policies before enrolling. KFBI cannot guarantee that any other institution will accept credits from our programs if they are out of network.
The Commission of Affirming & Inclusion in Higher Education (CAIHE) is an independent accreditation and quality assurance body committed to promoting inclusivity, affirming, equitable, and academically rigorous higher education institutions.
